Comedian and dancer Dan Dailey has an impressive filmography. Dailey participated in many musicals during the 1940s and the 1950s. He was teamed up with Betty Grable in four movies, including "When my Baby Smiles at Me", who got him an Oscar nomination for Best Actor. His other top-rank performances include "There's No Business Like Show Business" (1954) and "It's Always Fair Weather" (1955).
He also starred in several comedies and dramas. His athletic stature won him leading roles in two baseball movies : "The Pride of St. Louis" (1952) and "The Kid from Left Field" (1953).
