Plot :
Chicago, late 1920's : Thomas Farrell, a criminal lawyer, works for Chicago gang boss Rico Angelo. He manages to get Louis Canetto, Angelo's right-hand man, off on a murder case. Rico Angelo throws a party to celebrate the event at his penthouse, where showgirl Vicky Gaye performs a sexy dance. Canetto has the hots for Vicky, but she's more interested in Thomas Farrell. She convinces him to quit the Mafia, but Rico Angelo forces him to take one more case. Farrell is wounded in a shoot-out, and arrested by prosecutor Jeffrey Stewart. Stewart orders Farrell to testify against Rico Angelo ; the lawyer agrees to do so, but only if Vicky Gaye is given police protection. Unfortunately, Angelo gets to her first, and threatens to throw acid in her face if Farrell betrays him...
